For anyone who may not have noticed, it appears the moderators have been getting a hard time from some of us Scots. As far as I can see they are trying to make sure this stays a friendly & welcoming place for everyone. If they disapprove of a comment you've made. Accept it & try not to give them grief & post it on twitter instead. I'm sure we can all do that 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The world will be watching this march stand up show them your a proud independent Scot and declare your independence scream it as loud as you can "we declare our independence"

The right to self determination is a people's right the international press will be at this march it takes one country to recognise a declaration of independence let's leave politics to the politicians and declare our independence as a people a nation who have taken to the streets to take what is rightfully ours

D'you know - I wasn't all that keen on doing this - moving to Mastodon - yesterday when it was first mooted by, I think @Jeggit. But I now think it's a fresh start for all us Independence minded people to reconnect & forget all the spats and arguments of the past 5 years.

A winter stroll for interested souls

On independence: I grew up in the thatcher era no apprenticeships in my area ( I had to move ) dad out of work huge dole queues , hope villages out of work , yop schemes to mask actual unemployment numbers , places in Scotland that would qualify for third world grants and we produce oil . Let’s give our kids a great future let’s give Scotland the future it’s history commands .

Just a couple more quick thoughts as our user count increases rapidly! Over 700 new users in the last 24 hours and counting.
