@HarkJ I don't have access to the Sunday times, sorry. What interview are you looking for though?

Hello. Does anyone out there have access to the Sunday Times interview?.not available in English edition and I guess I might just have to give them my personal details for a 1 month free sub. Would be most grateful....

So many people follow me here, but I've never really written a proper #introduction. Time to change that!

Hey there, I'm Chris, but most friends call me 'muesli'. I'm a geek, a software developer, a maker, an opensource advocate and a tech enthusiast. I love programming and tinkering with things. I started almost three decades ago with Basic, and have learned & used Pascal, Assembly, C, C++, Java, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Rust, Go, and Lua (pretty much in that order) over all these years.

Not sure I've seen an article like this in the national Guardian. Going out to buy a paper copy. No negative comment just a reporting of (mostly) facts 👍

"The climate crisis has already been solved. We already have all the facts and solutions. All we have to do is to wake up and change. And why should I be studying for a future that soon will be no more when no one is doing anything whatsoever to save that future? And what is the point of learning facts in the school system when the most important facts given by the finest science of that same school system clearly means nothing to our politicians and our society?"

There’s nothing inherently important about the change of year, but it does have a psychological impact and provokes us to look forward.

This new year, let’s not look back as if the mess in the UK and US is our fate but forward, using the past only as a guide and not a master.

This year, let Scotland be free and America be redeemed. Let the good folks who can see the vile folly of this nostalgic slide stand up and firm, and bring those deceived by unthinking bias and avarice forward with us.

Thoroughly enjoying Gordy Buchanan and the Snowcats. Ok BBC but the licence fee is worth it for these programmes alone. Don't @ me.😊

Has been really great to have had a social media break this past week. (Apart from daft dogs and cats on FB and pretty pics on Insta) hoping to keep away from toxic stuff for as long as possible. Grateful to be here.😊

Just escaped getting into a slugging match with @2351onthelist aka Historywoman. Too tired for all that nastiness. Have turned twitter off for now. ( well gone protected anyway)
