Hey, does anybody else remember how we found out a few weeks ago that the Trump administration didn’t bother with a national testing plan for COVID-19 because it was a “blue state problem”?

My God we have trusted since 2016 that someone was keeping track and going to hold these people to account (justice system takes time to build a case, etc). It's not happening. I now believe we are on our own and a corrupt murderer is just keeping at it while we forget more than we catalogue of his crimes.

Can we please, please – PLEASE! not make the nonsensical US date format month/day/year the default in applications? 🤦‍♂️

And to all users of that format: it makes no sense, it's counter-intuitive, it makes collaboration frustrating, it introduces inconsistencies and errors... Just stop. Please. Use international standards.
(And don't get me started on your other units of weights, volumes and distances. Bloody hell.)

Boost if I'm right.

Imagine a day, where asking a dev to restrict their app to some people is a normal behavior. Today, maybe 99,9% don't care due to the target. But what's next?
Do you like to choose freely an app with your needs or choose your needs due to apps?

If Google does not want to listen to my explanations, I will not change the app for them.
The way they are acting is unfair and don't give any trust concerning next publications.
I prefer to spend my time to help people to switch on #FDroid for getting the app.

We need to defeat this bizzare cognative dissonance people face when they have to re-evaluate the place email holds in their mind. It's not some useless relic of the last generation to cast off in the course of chasing the shiny new.

"Email? Yuck"

Screw that noise. Set aside your preconceptions and look at email for what it is. The things that make you "yuck" about email are more related to the bastardization of email *software* by corporate interests like Google and Microsoft, and have next to nothing to do with email itself.

We recently got like, 50kg of beans, crushed tomatoes and peas for free. Nothing wrong with them.

How? Well, the packages was a bit dirty and had some dents in them. So they was "unsellable" to consumer in the store. So they decided to just throw them away.

I fucking hate this.

Now the goat becomes high. Goats loves weeds and khats more than anything.

*my first day as a cop*

Me: do you know why I pulled you over? you ran 5 red lights in a row

Ambulance driver: bro

Affy bonnie weather the day. That’s Hven in the background – a Swedish island that used to be Danish. Astronomer Tycho Brae was given an estate on Hven by the Danish king where he built two astronomical observatories 🪐

One of the most important things I need to break down (COVID has rattled me deep) is the binary belief we have that living and dying are binary opposites with a hard line that exists between them, like an on/off switch.

We are actually always doing both.

The living are always dying.
And the dying are still living until they are not.

Life and death are intimate partners. Completely necessary to each other.

In a Scottish Council on Archives zoom meeting. Speaker mentions using a spreadsheet to identify issues with a catalogue, warns "Excel is proprietary software so you may want to use an open alternative such as OpenOffice." How times have changed when proprietary software carries the warning.

Oh, look. One of those 350 million quids that we’re saving from leaving the EU (lol) is being spent on newly required customs systems between the UK & Northern Island.

So I finally got time to edit the pictures of my camera. Think this one turned out great so I decided to share it with you all :)

So much wrong in two short sentences.
