The only pic I took yesterday, hands full with a saltire n umbrella 😂 what a day! Tremendous atmosphere! Totally drookit but worth every minute 🏴🏴🏴🏴 #auobglasgow
Yesterday in Glasgow was dreich and windy, but an estimated 80,000 people came out for the #AUOB march for Scottish Independence. @daishin and I marched with our friend the Gaelic poet Babs Nicgriogair. That's Daishin at the front of the photo, Babs and me behind the banner. There were people from Plaid Cymru, here from Wales to march in solidarity. It was entirely peaceful. There were a few (and I do mean a few; probably not more than 20) unionist counter-protestors. They looked lonely.
So brothers and sisters the march tomorrow is the Scottish people telling boris and his minions... That we will be taking scotland out of this stinking union... Our voice will be heard not ignored.. Our country and wealth belong in Scotland and will be used to build a forward equal open free country able to forge new friendships with our EU partners..... 🏴
From 2018 but still makes me cry
