By the time we "turned the corner" on our morning walk, the sun was elbowing its way through the clouds, and Preas Loch, the very navel at the Centre of the (known) Universe, was laid out in all her beauty,

Straight towards the sun, the morning mists turned the hillside into a faded sepia print.

Looking back, Clachtoll Broch was now awash with sunlight. It's not hard to imagine someone coming out of that doorway 1700 years ago to warm themselves inn the morning sun
