And finally, the last of my favorite infrared photos from last weekend’s tour of the Desert X art installation series in Palm Springs. I hope they do more of this stuff in the future, it was a lot of fun! #infrared #photography #InfraredPhotography #PalmSprings

The Galactic Core in #Infrared
Hubble and Spitzer telescopes surveyed the Milky Way's center in infrared, revealing gas clouds, dust, and star clusters over 300x115 light-years. High-res images show structures as small as 20 solar systems, with mysterious massive stars unlinked to any cluster.

The reflection from this mirror says “truth” and this woman is literally standing in the way of it and fiddling with her phone. Meanwhile some folks stand shoulder to shoulder outside of the wall, facing away from it…
The symbolism feels apt (or I’m really just reading way too much into it all). Either way, it’s definitely one of my favorite shots from this weekend.
New #photography album up on my site: Jamaica fo this year! My #timelapse sunsets this year are only ok, but I did have some fun with some #astrophotography! And some interesting #infrared and #tiltshift stuff too!
An #infrared shot with two edits - this is the #monochrome reply to the colour edit.
I'm mainly going for black and white #ir shots these days, but I can't make up my mind about this one.
It's a #590nm 4 shot panorama on my full spectrum Sony A7ii with a #Konica35mmf2 lens. (I was too lazy to change the lens to the 21mm) and taken last Monday in winter sunshine in Raphael Park in #Romford.

Cyclones at #Jupiter's North Pole
NASA's Juno mission captured #infrared data of Jupiter's north pole, revealing eight cyclones around a central one. Unlike #Saturn, which has a single cyclone at each pole, Jupiter displays complex polar weather patterns with larger cyclones at the south pole.

I had SUCH a fun day out photographing a series of sculptures that have been set up all around the Coachella valley. I love when photo adventure days work out! #infrared #photography #InfraredPhotography #PalmSprings
