Don't trust the mostly lukewarm reviews for #ClerksIII (trust me! A tooter with a dozen followers). It's a wonderful piece of cinema, comfortably low-brow and silly yet every bit as valuable as its wankier counterpart, the Before trilogy (yes, I admit that idea is planted by Smith, "retail's Linklater").
It's refreshing to see friends change, or not change, and explore their relationship across decades without forcing the point. And I bawled, proper ugly cried, and did not see that coming.
