Cassandra House of Priam<a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Music</a> has been getting me through a lot this week. It’s been terrific therapy, inspiration and solace. Had chills up my spine with this performance of <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Mahler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mahler</a> 5 by <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/BerlinPhil" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BerlinPhil</a> <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Dudamel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Dudamel</a>, particularly that wonderful scherzo, which seems to contain the joy, sorrow and horrors of the whole world, conjured by the magisterial horn playing of <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/StefanDohr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#StefanDohr</a> <a href="https://www.digitalconcerthall.com/en/concert/55026?utm_medium=sharebutton&utm_source=dch_webapp&utm_campaign=share_vod_concert" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://www.digitalconcerthall.com/en/concert/55026?utm_medium=sharebutton&utm_source=dch_webapp&utm_campaign=share_vod_concert</a>

Patrick HadfieldAnd then there were two encores. Frankly I don't think Mahler needs an encore. But hey, the band let their hair down and let rip. I couldn't hear what the first encore was, but it was fun. The second was Bernstein's Mambo from West Side Story. The orchestra's go-to encore. The audience was clapping and the orchestra was dancing, literally.
