@AGT From that trailer, it may be the case that this reboot is eschewing the deadpan obliviousness of the original series for outlandish surrealism. Which may not be a bad thing, given that fans of the original will naturally want to compare Liam Neeson to Leslie Nielsen.

@michaelmeckler A friend told me about the trailer, and my initial thought was “Uh-oh… I’m not sure.” After seeing the clip I’m at least going to give it a chance. As for the new Frank Drebin, you can make “Nielsen” out of “Liam Neeson” so I guess I’ll give him a chance too!
