Yes! It's just a fact of #writing- not everything works out.
I have an abandoned post apocalyptic story which started life as #supernatural #fanfic . I have a near future #scifi about a programmer who creates an "AI" that is supposed to take over the world and become a benevolent dictator. I have an abandoned far future #scifi with added vampires, and, of course, there's Threads too.
The post apocalyptic story just ran out of steam.
The near future #scifi keeps getting overtaken by real world events. The far future one kind of depends on me finishing Threads.
There's also a horror story set in the big snow ( here in Scotland) of 1959/60 in a fictional Galloway 'Big House' called Tobar Waine. Points if you know what that means.
