@andywasley always love to see some Laurie Lee appreciation, Cider With Rosie is such a gem of a book. Will keep an eye out for the other title.
@Funktious It’s a treat. His later memoirs are excellent too – As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning is very very funny in places, and A Moment of War is pensive, fascinating and (perhaps too) imaginative.
