Who says social media isn't real life? Yesterday I was motivated by a conversation on here to go out and protect my little patch of park from the depredations of the lawnmowers.
As you can see it was cut down cruelly. But I hope there's time for some wild flowers to come back before winter.
@hicoo@mastodon.scot@Loukas Our new homeowner committee who kind of ousted the previous ones for using funds inappropriately, have said in the coming couple of years, they'll be cutting back the overgrown bushes and putting in areas of wildflowers and meadow flowers, as good sources of #BeeFood.
Hopefully will bring in some different colours, not just green/brown.
