IF YOU'RE GONNA TREAT PEACEFUL PROTEST AS TERRORISM, WHAT INCENTIVE DO PROTESTERS HAVE TO BE PEACEFUL?
@LRRRonEarth were they supposed to offer incentives?They have a monopoly on use of violent force and they are dying to see (or even claim) we go violent so they can beat the shit out of us, legitimately. They'll do anything to make us look violent.

Obviously violent protest is dangerous and the state have plenty of resources to shut it down. But if you're not allowed to do peaceful protest, don't do protest: do direct action on the usual ramp (non-compliance, malicious compliance, obstruction, sabotage, high-value target destruction, [omitted for legal reasons])
@petealexharris @LRRRonEarth we had peaceful protests in my country of origin. Tens of thousands of people occupied a park to protect it. At every step all gov did was to make it look violent when it wasn't. They even said molotovs are unacceptable when there weren't any molotovs around. People were peacefully sitting in a park, sharing food and resources. But the next day, out of nowhere molotovs came. And vandals in civilian clothes inside the protesters but wearing the same unmarked navy cap. We noticed, announced even caught some and handed them to the police but the news said the protests got violent so gov has a mandate to stop it and restore order. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yep, the state gets to choose whether a protest was "violent" and what violent response is appropriate, especially when captured by the same billionaires who own the news media.
@petealexharris @LRRRonEarth i try to explain to my fellow Americans who think we still have an Oligarchy here. We DID have an Oligarchy. Sure. Once we crossed the line to an authoritarian phase oligarchs don't have any power anymore. They are allowed to enjoy the money but they can lose it all in a day. Some of those noticed that and thought they could jump in and change the outcome. The outcome they want is a network state. They want to become feudal lords. in this coalition there are different goals. Evangelicals want to set up the rapture, White supremacists want a caste system of sorts etc. The common waypoint in all those is to break down pax-Americana. So for now the coalition will hold.
