@thisismyglasgow Is that Bingham Pond? Many years since I saw it in person but it looks beautiful in this picture. I've just been teaching Edwin Morgan's sublime poem 'Winter' to my S4 class. The Great Western Road and Bingham Pond have star roles in that bleak poem.

@MarcusAurelius It is Bingham's Pond. It has changed a huge amount in the last 20 years. Specifically, it was drained, re-landscaped and turned into a local nature reserve. It's a long way from the dilapidated concrete boating pond I remember it being when I was a child.
