The dome of the Merchants House, George Square, Glasgow.
Glasgow has many domes, but this is probably my favourite because of the globe and sailing ship perched on it top.
I often wonder how many people pass this building each day wihout ever noticing the ornate ornamentation far above them.

@ronnietucker I think that's Mrs Ogg! She's called that because she's on the top of the old Ogg Brothers Drapery Store that's now an Italian Restaurant. Her official name is the Statue of Commerce and Industry. On a similar vein, the statue on the top of the Mitchell Library is nicknamed Mrs Mitchell! Anyway, yes, that's another great skyline statue from Glasgow.
@thisismyglasgow holy shit! I didn't know that. My mother's maiden name was Ogg! 
Her great great grandparents were from Banff, so it wasn't her factory.
