Love the mosaics lining the corridor leading up to the boardroom of the former Clyde Navigation Trust building on Robertson Street in Glasgow.

@FallsMom I think that's no coincidence. I think the Clyde Navigation Trust made their headquarters so impressice to show they rivalled the importance of the the Glasgow Corporation in keeping Glasgow running smoothly and making money. Incidently, there's a possibility the Clyde Navigation Trust building actually includes elements from one of the rejected designs for the City Chambers.
@thisismyglasgow I try to imagine how much labour went into just the nearest of those designs, and I’m staggered. Then I look down the corridor and see all the rest of them…
