A pattern of ripples spreading out to the right in a river. Underneath the water can be seen a mix of large stones (especially on the left) and smaller ones, grey and red and other colours. The ripples pattern is a series of curves, visible vertically in the middle of the picture, concave curves that are moving out towards the right. The effect is like looking through a strange mirrored piece of glass at the water and rocks below.

A silver ground carpet moth perched on a green leaf. Its colouring is like lacy white, grey and a band of darker gray splurges across the middle. Its wings are spread wide and it is pointing down and to the left. Beside it can be glimpsed another insect or perhaps a young moth - it isn't clear.

A juvenile dipper bird standing on a rock with its wings fluffed up, preening. It was also wiggling its tail at this time. It is standing facing to the left in the middle of the picture, its beak and face very prominent. Behind it the water of the river can be seen.

Looking vertically up at the stone built column of an old railway viaduct, with its red brick arch extending up and to the left and right. The viaduct is surrounded by green trees, full of branches and leaves. It is a marvellous mix of an old building and nature.
