@jimdonegan I'm on Linux Mint 20.3, and from that video, i'm not seeing any standout stuff to need to upgrade. I'm an icon hog, I like my desktop icons. And I noted he spoke more about what was taken out, rather than put in! Kinda going the way that Windows did after Vista, removing features rather than adding them. I'm also not a fan of flatpaks, after seeing how much disk space they eat up, compared to natively installed apps.
So I think I'll be sticking to 20.3.
Snap! Also, upgrading is a killer of stability. No matter how well things go there are always risks and little changes that you only notice as a hassle when it's too late. So I won't be upgrading for a while either, although I do switch up the kernel for new hardware support on a laptop used for music production.
