#Homeowners in old poorly #insulated #houses may be #eligible for a #grant or #freeinsulation to improve a #freezing #home. There appears to be a #povertytrap. It seems you may have to have an #Energyperformancecertificate to #access all sorts of help. An #EPC is only valid for 10 yrs & may cost up to £120. That's #money many won't have. Looks like no-money-no-help!

10 months later - The tories announce they are rehashing an existing grant just in time for the following SUMMER. Meanwhile, they are handing 16x the amount budgeted for that grant to oil/gas corporations to subsidise their ludicrous profits.
