Getting busier on the patch
The weather has been mixed today after the spell of great, sunny days but it was expected and it's not raining ..... yet. That said, we could do with some rain, maybe a downpour from midnight to 05:00? Anyway, I grabbed my camera and binoculars and headed out for a wander, then turned back and grabbed a fleece! Our Garden Visitors (C-D)
I'm going to use these pages to list and ID by photograph the birds that we commonly get visiting the feeders or the garden in general, I may create another page for those less common appearances. I will try to use only shots from the garden but will label any that aren't but used as examples. I'm also going to try to keep images of the young birds to a separate blog.

Feeding in February
It's February 2nd and the weather isn't that great but at least there's decent light for my wanders and photography. Nuthatch Freeze!
January 22nd - Since we've retired, we've lost all of our daily drivers; must get up for work; got chores to do; Breakfast / lunch / Dinner time .... and we're loving it, apart from never really knowing what day it is, what time it is

Hiding out at the old Oak
My wonderful lady bought me a portable hide for my birthday so ...... I ported it down to the old Oak feeding area to catch those damned Jays out, hah! They'd never know I was there, right? Looks like the Treecreeper knows! There's one thing I love about Great Spotted Woodpeckers. I think she knows! Definitely!
